“Hundreds of people have been evacuated from flood-stricken areas of the Hawaiian island of Kauai after severe rain struck over the weekend, leaving swaths of land underwater,” CNN reported.<br /><br />In the video, a drone provides aerial footage along Weke Road in Hanalei, Hawaii, where homes, roads and vehicles have been damaged by flooding.<br /><br />After flying the drone over the Hanalei Canoe Club, where many canoes were gone or damaged, the filmer piloted the drone over the pier.<br /><br />“I saw that three vehicles had been destroyed in a sink hole, the park bathroom was destroyed, Weke Road was washed out, power lines down, sewer and water pipes exposed and many multi-million dollar homes were off foundation and sinking,” the filmer told Newsflare in an email.
