Try this Assorted Cookies recipe (Bakery style butter cookies) and enjoy your tea time at home. #HappyCookingToYou <br /><br />Written Recipe: https://goo.gl/ptM6EF<br />More Recipes: http://www.foodfusion.com<br /><br /><br />Assorted Cookies (Bakery style) Recipe in English:<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />-Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 & ¾ Cups (350 gms)<br />-Corn flour ½ Cup (50 gms)<br />-Namak (Salt) 2 pinches <br />-Makhan (Butter) unsalted 1 Cup (250 gms) (Room temperature)<br />-Cheeni (Sugar) grinded 3/4 Cup (80 gms)<br />-Anday ki zardi (Egg yolks) large 3<br />-Vanilla essence ½ tbs<br />-Cocoa powder 4 tbs<br />-Strawberry jam <br />-Cooking chocolate<br />-Pista (Pistachio) & Badam (Almonds) chopped <br />-Chocolate ganache<br /><br />Directions:<br />-In bowl,place sifter,add all-purpose flour,corn flour,salt and sift together,mix well and set aside.<br />-In bowl,add butter and beat until fluffy.<br />-Add sugar and mix with the help of the spatula then beat until well combined.<br />-Add egg yolks and beat well.<br />-Add vanilla essence and beat again.<br />-Gradually add sifted flour mixture and mix gently until well combined.<br />-Now divide the dough into two equal portions.<br />-Cover yellow dough with cling film and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.<br />-Add cocoa powder in the second portion and mix until well combined.<br />-Cover brown dough with cling film and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.<br />-Flatten the yellow dough and roll out with the help of rolling pin.<br />-Cut into desired shapes with the help of the cookie cutter.<br />-Make a slightly deep impression in the center of the dough and add jam.<br />-For jam filling cookies,take a small dough and make a ball,make a hole in the center and slightly press it.<br />-Now fill the center hole with the strawberry jam.<br />-Take a small dough and make a ball,make a hole in the center,add cooking chocolate,make a ball again and add marks with the help of the fork.<br />-Take a small dough and knead it with chopped pistachios & almonds,make a small ball again and press in cookie cutter to make a round shape,add pistachios and press it.<br />-For Checker board cookies,take a brown dough,cut into small pieces and roll out lengthwise with the help of the hand.<br />-Take a yellow dough,cut into small pieces and roll out lengthwise with the help of the hand.<br />-Now place yellow and brown bars together and apply milk over them.<br />-Place another yellow and brown bars alternatively to create a checker board effect,cover with cling film and gently press the bars together.<br />-Let it refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.<br />-Cut with the help of the knife into thick slices.<br />-Take a brown dough and make a ball,place cling film and roll out with the help of rolling pin.<br />-Cut into desired shapes with the help of the cookie cutter.<br />-On baking tray,place butter paper and all prepared cookies.<br />-Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 10-12 minutes.<br />-Remove baking tray from oven and let cookies cool for 2 minutes.<br />-Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.<br />-Pipe in chocolate ganache & serve.
