<br /> <p>Protesters marched through Barstow, California, on Tuesday, April 10, gathering in front of city hall to remember Diante Yarber, who was killed in a fatal police shooting on April 5.</p><p>San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office said</a> said deputies opened fire on a black Mustang in the parking lot of a Walmart store in Barstow, killing the driver, Yarber, and wounding two other people in the car, after the vehicle collided with two patrol cars during a traffic stop.</p><p>The sheriff’s office said deputies were responding to call about a suspicious vehicle and believed the driver to be wanted for questioning in relation to a stolen vehicle. The sheriff’s department listed deputies as “victims” and Yarber as the “suspect” in its statement.</p><p>Yarber’s aunt told reporters</a> the Mustang belonged to her son and that he was in the vehicle when the shooting happened.
