The police case investigating the tragic death of Prince has finally been closed. <br /><br />At the age of 57, the ‘Purple Rain’ hitmaker passed away in April 2016 after suffering a fentanyl overdose at his home in Paisley Park, Minnesota. This was contained within counterfeit Vicodin that Prince had consumed. <br /><br />But after two years of investigation, Minnesotan police couldn’t find any “reliable evidence” showing how Prince obtained the counterfeit Vicodin “or who else may have had a role in delivering it”. <br /><br />But as Prince drifts away into cherished memory, we must not forget the opioid epidemic that is still ravaging the United States. <br /><br />
