Water-spraying equipment has been set up in central China's Hubei Province to prevent pedestrians from crossing when they shouldn't.<br /><br />In the video, captured in Huangshi City on April 18, bollards spray water vapour when someone walks past the posts.<br /><br />According to reports, the bollards were also equipped with facial recognition technology and the pictures of jaywalkers were displayed on a giant LED screen.<br /><br />Local media said the system was still being trialled. <br /><br />++CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN LOOPED++
