Former President Park Geun-hye faces another trial today, this time for the charges of accepting bribes, causing government losses, and embezzlement.<br /> Unlike her past trials, this is a formal trial that requires her presence.<br />However, Park, who has boycotted all of her previous hearings, has refused to turn up to the trial.<br />She denied the charges and declined to show up because of her health problems. <br />Due to her absence, the trial will take place with only the prosecutor and the court-appointed lawyer required to be present. <br />Park also faces her first hearing on the additional offense of misuse of National Intelligence Service special activity costs. <br />
