A man was enjoying a dive off the Maldives when he found a turtle struggling with its hind leg entangled in a fishing net. <br /><br />The footage, captured in Dhuvaafaru on April 10, shows HoHo de Farouq freeing the turtle from the net.<br /><br />The turtle then swims away into the depth of the ocean.<br /><br />The filmer later wrote online: "It was sad I had to witness a poor turtle stuck in a net. <br /><br />‘’Plastic pollution is a huge problem but we all can help. Reuse, refuse or recycle so that it does not end up in our ocean. <br /><br />‘’Just imagine the number of turtles that might not be as lucky as this one.’’
