Learn how to make Mutton Ghee Roast Recipe exclusively on Get Curried by Chef Smita Deo.<br /><br />Make this Dry Mutton Roast recipe in Mangalorean Style and share your experience with us in the comments below.<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />4 tbsp ghee<br />5 Finely Chopped Onions <br />1 tsp Ginger paste<br />1 tsp garlic paste<br />1/2 tsp turmeric powder<br />1 tsp Chili powder<br />5 tbsp coconut paste<br />Salt to taste<br />1/2 cup Mutton stock<br /><br />Ingredients for Marination:<br />1/2 kg Mutton<br />1/2 cup yogurt<br />1 1/2 tsp garam masala powder<br />1/4 tsp turmeric powder<br />1 tbsp Chili powder<br />1 tsp garlic paste<br />1 tsp ginger paste<br /><br />Method of preparation:<br />In a wok add ghee, onions and saute them until the onions turn golden brown.<br />On the other hand, start marinating the mutton.<br />Boil the mutton with some ginger, garlic and salt.<br />Add yogurt, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, Chili powder, garlic paste, ginger paste. Mix the well and keep it aside.<br />Once the onions turn brown add ginger-garlic paste, saute them until the raw smell goes off.<br />Add turmeric powder, chili powder, ground coconut paste and saute them until the oil oozes out.<br />Now add the marinated mutton, and saute it for 2-3 minutes and add salt. <br />Add mutton stock to this, cover it with a lid and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium flame. Switch off the gas, take it out in a bowl and garnish it with curry leaves.<br /><br />Our Mutton Ghee Roast is ready.
