A diver in Florida has captured stunning footage swimming with a large alligator at the bottom of a lake in the Everglades' underwater jungle.<br /><br />In the video, filmed in February this year, experienced diver Bartolomeo Bove approaches the alligator.<br /><br />At one point his GoPro camera is inches away from the alligator's jaw before it suddenly scuttles away right in front of Bove. <br /><br />He explains: "As a wildlife enthusiast and underwater videographer, one morning last February I took a dive into the underwater jungle of the Everglades to film the alligators and this is some of the footage that I shot with my GoPro. <br /><br />"Although the water was pretty murky I could still get good close up shots of one of Florida's apex predators."
