Representative Patrick Meehan resigned from Congress on April 27th.<br />The Republican from Pennsylvania reportedly used taxpayer funds to pay for a former staffer's sexual harassment claim.<br />Former representative Meehan stated he will pay back the US Treasury for the settlement.<br />Back in January, Meehan stated he would not seek reelection after his settlement became public knowledge. <br />
