After years of back and forth, U.S. telecoms giant T-Mobile announced Sunday that it has finally agreed to buy rival Sprint.<br /> The all-stock merger is worth 26 billion U.S. dollars and needs approval from America's antitrust regulators.<br />Pundits believe the deal will go through because it will create thousands of jobs and also help the U.S. beat China to creating the next generation mobile network.<br />However critics say reduced competition in the American telecoms market could end up hurting consumers. <br />If the merger is confirmed, then T-Mobile will be positioned as a fierce rival to Verizon and AT&T. <br />
