South Korea's industrial output fell one-point-two percent on-month in March, marking two consecutive months of decline.<br /> According to Statistics Korea on Monday, memory chip production increased by over one percent,... but production in automobiles and machinery dropped by more than three percent on-month, leading the overall fall in industrial output. <br />Industrial output also saw an on-year drop of four-point-three percent in March.<br />But retail sales, an indicator of consumption, went up two-point-seven percent on-month... on the back of strong automobile and clothing sales. <br />
