A driver in the U.K. was banned from driving for 18 months after an incident with a Tesla Model S.<br /><br />Another driver on the M1 highway filmed Bhavesh Patel leaving the driver's seat empty. <br /><br />Telsa cars with autopilot give warnings that the self-driving mode is not fully autonomous and hands must still be on the wheel.<br /><br />What Patel did was grossly irresponsible and could have easily ended in tragedy. <br />
