South Korean President Moon Jae-in has talked over the phone to the three sailors released by pirates near the West African coast, and with the captain of the ship that rescued them.<br /> The President commended the captain of the warship Munmu the Great for his and the crew's rescue efforts, and thanked the Navy on behalf of the Korean people.<br /> He also talked to each of the three abducted seamen, thanking them for their patience and trust in the Korean government.<br />The three South Korean sailors had been kept captive by unidentified pirates for 32 days before their rescue last Friday. <br />
