The standstill at the National Assembly continues.<br />Despite a meeting Monday,... rival parties failed to narrow their differences, leading to the conservative opposition to continue their boycott of parliament.<br /> With that, lawmakers will likely leave the April session, which ends tomorrow,... with nothing to show for it -- as they have been bickering over disputed bills and an opinion rigging scandal involving a ruling party lawmaker. <br />National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun said that in May, that parties must to work to improve people's livelihoods and tackle other pending issues... such as ratifying the Panmunjom Agreement reached at the inter-Korean summit -- so that it can be enforced under a legal framework.<br />Floor leaders of the major parties are expected to meet again tomorrow in an attempt to get the parliament back to normal. <br />
