Try this Chaat recipe at home and let us know in the comments below.<br /><br />Ingredients for puri:<br />The temperature of the Preheated Oven - 150°C<br />1 cup wheat flour<br />1/3 Rajgira flour<br />Salt to taste<br />Red Chili powder<br />2 Tbsp oil<br /><br />Ingredients for the sweet chutney:<br />1 cup deseed dates<br />1/2 cup jaggery<br />1/4 cup tamarind<br />1 cup water<br />Salt<br />Red Chili powder<br />1/2 tsp - cumin powder<br /><br />Ingredients for the Curd Mixture:<br />1 cup curd<br />3/4 Tbsp raw sugar<br />Red chili powder<br />Black salt<br /><br />For the Chaat:<br />Steamed potato<br />Boiled white chickpea<br />Coriander Chutney <br />Curd Mixture<br />Sweet chutney<br />Chaat Masala<br />Chopped coriander<br /><br />Method of preparation for puri:<br />In a bowl add Wheat flour, Rajgira flour, Salt, Red Chili powder, oil and mix them well.<br />Add water and knead the dough. Once you are done kneading the dough keep it aside for 10 minutes.<br />Make big roti and cut out small rounds from it.<br />Prick the puri dough so that it does not puff<br />Grease the baking tray with some oil and place the puris in the upside down direction and prick it on the other side as well.<br />Bake the puri inside a pre-heated oven for 5 minutes.<br />After 5 minutes take out the puris and turn them and bake it again on the other side for 5 minutes.<br /><br />Method for the Sweet Chutney:<br />In a cooker add deseeded dates, jaggery, tamarind and water. Cook it until 2 whistles.<br />Our chutney mixture has cooled down, now we'll blend it.<br />Add water if needed.<br />Sieve the chutney and add salt, red chili, and mix it well.<br />Our sweet chutney is ready.<br /><br />Method for the Curd mixture:<br />In a cup of curd, add raw sugar, red chili powder and some black salt and mix them well.<br /><br />Assembling:<br />In a plate add crushed puris, steamed potato, boiled white chickpea, prepared curd mixture, sweet chutney, some chaat masala, chopped coriander.<br />Our Papdi Chaat is ready.<br />
