The Big Apple has provided the backdrop to a thousand films, therefore it is no mystery why we packed our bags and flew here in search of the elusive cinema rat. We are of course talking about the title character from the renowned short film "One Rat Short" by Alex Weil from Charlex Films. What started as a technical demonstration of 3D capabilities ended up winning the Best Short at SIGGRAPH 2006. <br /><br />We have arranged to have Charlex Films come to tell us what they can about the short film and how they were able to give life to the characters. <br /><br />By: <br />Blanca Cortés Garza and Isabel Sanchez-Bella
