문재인 대통령, 터키 에르도안 대통령과 오늘 정상회담<br /><br /> President Moon Jae-in met this morning with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is on a state visit to South Korea.<br /> It's the first meeting between the leaders of the two countries since Seoul and Ankara established a strategic partnership in 2012.<br />After a welcoming ceremony, the two leaders held a summit at the Blue House,... highly evaluating their 61 years of bilateral cooperation and their long-standing friendship,... and also the recent inter-Korean summit.<br />Turkey contributed the second highest number of allied troops during the Korean War.<br />Seoul also helped Turkey following the 1999 earthquake in Istanbul.<br /> The leaders also witnessed the signing of MOUs in sectors including education as well as ICT.<br />A state banquet in honor of President Erdogan will be held this evening. <br />
