China says it welcomes a large U.S. trade delegation that's set to arrive in Beijing for a two-day trip starting today.<br /> Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, China's foreign ministry said Washington and Beijing should properly resolve relevant disputes through equal-footed consultation as the world's two biggest economies. <br />Take a look.<br /><br /> "As long as the U.S. is sincere about maintaining the long-term stability of China-U.S. economic and trade ties and comes to the negotiating table with mutual respect and win-win results in mind, then we believe that the bilateral consultation would be constructive."<br /><br /> The U.S. delegation, led by Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, is set to exchange views with Chinese Vice Premier (Lew-Her) Liu He on their bilateral trade and economic issues. <br />The trip comes as President Trump hopes to reduce tensions after the two sides came to the brink of a full-blown trade war after a tit-for-tat tariff battle. <br />
