여자탁구, 세계선수권서 27년 만에 '남북 단일팀' 구성<br /><br /> Seoul and Pyongyang formed a joint women's team for the first time in 27 years at the 2018 World Team Table Tennis Championships... currently taking place in Sweden.<br /> There was originally a quarterfinals match planned on Thursday between the two Korean teams,... but as they agreed to compete as one, they advanced to the semis together.<br />The last joint team in table tennis was formed in 1991 during the Championships in Japan.<br />Thomas Weikert, the president of the International Table Tennis Federation, led the move.<br />South Korea's national table tennis federation also plans to form a joint team with the North at this year's Asian Games... and has finalized its proposal to the international table tennis authorities. <br />
