South Korea's FX reserves set record high in April

South Korea's foreign exchange reserves are at a record high for the second month in a row in April.<br /> The total value of the country's foreign exchange reserves was more than three-hundred-98-point-four billion U.S. dollars, up more than one-point-six billion dollars from a month earlier.<br />The gains came despite an appreciation of the Korean won.<br />The Bank of Korea said the on-month rise was boosted by increased gains from investment in foreign assets. <br />According to the central bank, as of the end of March, South Korea has the world's ninth largest foreign exchange reserves, with China topping the list. <br />
