Last month, Sindri Thor Stefansson escaped from a minimum security prison in Iceland, where he was being held as the suspected mastermind behind the burglaries of around 600 expensive computers used for mining cryptocurrency.<br />He hopped on a flight to Sweden and was apprehended in Amsterdam after two people on the street recognized him and pointed him out to a cop.<br />Stefansson said he regrets his jailbreak. <br />
