This is a quick and easy silhouette painted with acrylic paint. The background is blended using white, pink and purple paint. I used a filbert brush and script liner paint brush to and black acrylic paint to create the cattails and long grass. I added glazing medium to black paint to create a transluscent colour to paint on the background cattails so that they would look like they were fading into the background a little.\r<br>\r<br>SUPPLIES:\r<br>pink acrylic paint\r<br>purple acrylic paint\r<br>white acrylic paint\r<br>black acrylic paint\r<br>matte glazing medium\r<br>round paint brush\r<br>script liner paint brush\r<br>filbert paint brush\r<br>watercolour paper (a canvas can also be used)\r<br>*NOTE: the background was prepainted with pink acrylic paint.
