A river of lava flowed through Hawaii's Big Island on Saturday.<br /><br />A dramatic clip showed the fiery liquid running down Leilani Avenue with giant lava bubbles bursting.<br /><br />Trees in the path of the lava instantly caught fire.<br /><br />"This was a very emotional event for me to witness the destruction and beauty of my Island," said the filmer.<br /><br />Thursday's eruption of the Kilauea volcano prompted a local state of emergency and the mandatory evacuation of 1,700 residents.
