<p>Residents affected by the lava flow and eruptions in Leilani Estates, Hawaii, were allowed to go home to collect items</a> on Sunday, May 8.</p><p>Those whose homes were in safe areas were allowed to return. About half of the properties were accessible, a news report said</a>.
