President Donald Trump is set on nominating Gina Haspel to head the CIA.<br />During her time at the CIA, Haspel, had allowed torture under her rule.<br />Trump swept the torture under the rug by saying she was just "tough on terror."<br />During Haspel's time, the CIA used waterboarding, a practice that simulates drowning in subjects of questioning.<br />Haspel offered to withdraw her nomination of out fear links to torture would hurt her chances to hear the agency. <br />
