The western regions will be mild and sunny today along with high UV rays while the eastern regions will have the exact opposite conditions.<br /><br /> Easterly winds will drag down the temperatures 7 to 8 degrees lower than the seasonal averages in the east. Gangneung will only get up to 13 degrees.<br /><br /> Gyeongju will only rise to 16 degrees while Seoul will get up to 21 degrees. <br /><br /> UV rays will be very high, especially for western parts of the country, including here in Seoul. Remember, UV rays are strongest between 10 am and 4 pm.<br /><br /> Wide temperature gaps will carry on for the rest of the week. We'll notice warmer temperatures next week.<br /><br />With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world. <br /><br /> A mostly cloud-free day is expected in most of South Korea, while parts of North Korea will also be under plenty of sunshine with warm highs. <br /><br />Morning rain in Tokyo will let up and cloudy skies and cool temperatures will dominate most of the day.<br /><br />The colder weather will seem like a shock after warmer temperatures across many cities in Australia. Wednesday is shaping up to be the mildest day of the week. <br /><br />Light rain that started in Vancouver will continue into Wednesday but it'll be sunny in Montreal.<br /><br />As for South America, the rain that's fallen for weeks on Argentina's main agricultural region is hampering the soy harvest.
