Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort has beefed up his legal defense.<br />He's taken on Jay Nanavati, a former Justice Department tax-crimes prosecutor.<br />Special counsel Robert Mueller has charged Manafort with tax evasion and bank fraud.<br />The GOP strategist has also been charged with failing to report overseas bank accounts. <br />
