South Korea's finance minister has admitted that future inter-Korean economic projects... will require cooperation with the international community.<br /> Speaking in a local radio interview this morning, Kim Dong-yeon said the Seoul is carrying out internal preparations to organize and implement possible economic projects with the North... and is watching the upcoming summit between Pyongyang and Washington.<br />With regards to financing, he said North Korea will have to join the IMF, which is required by organizations like the World Bank and the Asia Development Bank as a condition for getting development funds.<br />He added that the process of joining the IMF would take about three years... because the organization needs to anlayze economic data and statistics. <br />
