<p>South Hobart residents awoke to a peculiar scene on May 11 after a fish farm was found washed ashore at Hinsby Beach following overnight torrential rain and fierce winds.</p><p>The unseasonably cold and wet weather conditions in southeast Australia were the result of cold air blowing in from Antarctica, 9 News reported</a>. The cold snap had impacted Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and southeast South Australia.
