Floods in Thessaloniki, Greece's second-largest city, caused chaos on May 10 as streets turned into gushing rivers.<br /><br />Video shows what appears to be a large bottle bank being swept down a street and crashing into cars.<br /><br />Debris can also be seen on roads and huge lines of stationary traffic jam the streets.<br /><br />Writes the filmer: Thessaloniki city centre was damaged due to heavy rain and flooding. The city of 1.5 million citizens faced a massive storm on Thursday noon resulting in floods, power blackouts, water service interruptions, traffic accidents. <br /><br />"The fire brigade received hundreds of calls for rescue, pumping waters from shops, hotels and houses."
