Cincinnati Zoo's Possibly-Pregnant Snow Leopard Shows Off For Ultrasound

<p>Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden’s resident snow leopard Renji has such a good relationship with zoo workers that she voluntarily stands for ultrasound exams.</p><p>Zoo visitors on May 2 were given a chance to see employees giving seven-year-old Renji, who they believe could be pregnant, an ultrasound in her outdoor habitat.</p><p>A clip shared to the zoo’s YouTube account shows her care team giving her treats as they conduct an ultrasound on Renji.</p><p>If Renji is pregnant, her cubs would be the first snow leopards born at the Cincinnati Zoo since 1986.</p><p>Renji was transferred to the zoo</a> from Chattanooga Zoo in 2012 with the hopes of breeding with Cincinnati Zoo’s male snow leopard, Nubo.
