A Quick Simple video on Dual-booting Android/LineageOS with Ubuntu 18.04x64 on an EFI System.<br /><br />Your default partition layout should look the same as the one shown in the video.<br />/dev/sda1 is EFI and /dev/sda2 is EXT4 Ubuntu<br />Just run the Android x86(64-bit) installer (https://www.fosshub.com/Android-x86.html) from USB(I recommend https://rufus.akeo.ie on Windows, be sure to select for GPT Systems. On Ubuntu I recommend installing gnome-disk-utility, going to your flash drive, clicking the 3 Lines on the top right, and Restoring the Disk Image) or CD/DVD with UEFI from your EFI(bios) boot manager, and install Android on the same partition as Ubuntu(Skip any and all formatting) and install EFI GRUB2.<br />Android should safely be installed into its own folder under Ubuntu's Root. Just use your EFI Boot manager to swap between the two.
