A wildlife cameraman from South Africa had a delightful encounter recently with a rare samango monkey.<br /><br />The filmer and his group were on a trip to a remote part of the Afromontane rainforest in Magoebaskloof, South Africa in April when they came across the shy but curious primate.<br /><br />"While the rest of the troop quickly moved on when they spotted us, one curious individual remained behind," the filmer said.<br /><br />"This monkey was clearly very amused by our presence...It was a great experience to find these amazing and rare apes in their true natural environment that is quickly disappearing," he added.
