As many will know who follow the Shmee150 Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/shmee150), the Shmeemobile - my R8 V10 Spyder - is being wrapped an entirely new colour! Head over to Facebook now to see the first shots as they are posted up!<br /><br />For many reasons, and although I absolutely love the Sepang Blue colour, I have decided to try out a full vehicle wrap; not only to make the car a bit more unique and special, but also to protect the paintwork for the future as I have many exciting plans and trips in mind for 2013 and I'd like it to still look good afterwards! The wrap itself will be done by KIK Customs (https://www.facebook.com/kikcustoms1) and of course the valet work to prepare the paint by Paul of KIK Valeting. I've heard many people immediately complain about a change away from the blue, but I'd like to remind everyone that the car is STILL blue and will be reverted at some point in the future!<br /><br />Paul is not only a good friend, but incredibly good at what he does! Starting out with a clean of the car, before two layers of snow foam and a clay of the paintwork it's then polished in a way that it will be as good as new when the wrap is removed in the future. I had been thoroughly recommended to prep the car for the long term and Paul carried out that job superbly.
