South Korea's foreign ministry has denounced Japan's recent (QUOTE-UNQUOTE) "unjustifiable" claims over Dokdo islands... saying that such action would only slow down efforts in improving Seoul-Tokyo ties. <br /> Japan's foreign ministry on Tuesday.... repeated its false claims over Dokdo in its annual foreign policy document... the "Diplomatic Bluebok." <br />Seoul has been effectively controlling Dokdo islands for decades.<br />Along with claims to Dokdo, it also said,.... that the waters between Korea and Japan, known as the East Sea,.... should be called the 'Sea of Japan' under international standards.<br />Such false claims could hurt South Korea-Japan relations... which seemed to be on a better path... after the two countries held three-way talks with China for the first time in years last week,... and promised to step up cooperation in dealing with North Korea and other issues. <br />
