South Korea's Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha held phone talks with her Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan on Monday... to seek the city state's cooperation on the North Korea-U.S. summit set for June 12th in Singapore.<br /> The two agreed that the summit is a very important event for peace and denuclearizing the Korean peninsula.<br />Balakrishnan also said,.... Singapore will do its best to successfully host the summit,... adding that it will need help from Seoul, which hosted the recent inter-Korean summit,... and in dealing with North Korea. <br />Kang shared some of Seoul's pre-summit groundwork,... and explained South Korea's efforts for lasting peace on the Korean peninsula. <br />
