Since Hawaii's Kilauea volcano began erupting over a week ago, 19 new fissures have opened in the area, spewing molten lava.<br />The volcano on Hawaii's Big Island started erupting on May 3rd, and hasn't relented, which has the US Geological Survey concerned that an explosion may occur.<br />So far, officials on the Big Island have evacuated about 2,000 people from the Leilani Estates subdivision in the Lower Puna area. <br />
