<p>Heartbreaking footage of a pig grieving the loss of his companion gained attention after it was shared to Facebook on April 25.</p><p>The video was initially filmed by Belgium native Rachel Vos</a> in October 2017, but started to gain traction after it was posted by Facebook group Hobbyvarkenvereniging</a>, a charity run by pig owners in the Netherlands. It shows a pig called Spot mourning the death of his friend, Sientje.</p><p>Spot tenderly holds his snout on Sientje’s body, before giving an affectionate lick.
