<p>Several lightning strikes were seen near Warminster in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, May 15, as severe storms in the US Northeast left a trail of damage, power outages, and at least three people dead.</p><p>The Daily Freeman</a> said an 11-year-old girl died in Newburgh when a tree fell on the car she was traveling in. The Hartford Courant</a> said a man was killed in Danbury when a tree fell on his truck. A third person was killed by a falling tree in New Fairfield, Connecticut.</p><p>Also in Danbury, the Courant said, a teenager was badly injured when he was hit by the roof of a baseball dugout that was ripped off by strong winds at Henry Abbott Technical High School.</p><p>ABC said nearly half a million people were without power.
