<p>Curtis Holt was travelling to work on Tuesday, May 15, when he spotted a rogue kangaroo bouncing along Highway 28 near the Georgia and South Carolina state line. He captured this video as the animal hopped past his car.</p><p>McCormick County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene and shocked to find there was, in fact, a kangaroo. They posted an image of the marsupial to Facebook with the caption “I thought dispatch was joking.”</p><p>Local news</a> reported the kangaroo was later captured and returned to its owner, a licensed exotic animal farm.
