Wednesday, smog caused from the Kilauea volcano eruptions in Hawaii drifted across the island chain.<br />Reuters.com writes, "Communities south of its summit were warned of up to a quarter-inch of ashfall."<br />The US Geological Survey has worned aviators and airports to be cautious of the ash.<br />It could damage jet engines as it blows into aircraft routes.<br />Fortunately, the ash isn't poisonous. However, it does irritate a person's airways, eyes, and nose. <br />
