<p>Severe rainfall in Frederick, Maryland, left most roadways and residential areas partially submerged under water on May 16 following a severe storm which lashed the US Northeast, leaving at least five</a> people dead.</p><p>Residents in Frederick, Maryland, were told</a> to limit water use as the city’s wastewater treatment plant is inundated and at risk of additional overflow.</p><p>Residents were asked to refrain from non-essential water use such as washing dishes and clothes.</p><p>The Maryland Department of Transportation warned</a> residents on May 17 to be cautious while driving as heavy rainfall continued throughout the area.</p><p>This video contains several clips of submerged streets in Frederick, Maryland.
