<p>An Illinois couple’s baseball-inspired gender reveal went awry when they attempted to execute their plan at Tinley Park back in June 2017.</p><p>Neil Duschene and his partner decided to find out the sex of their family’s newest addition by having a baseball filled with either pink or blue dust, and then hitting it with a baseball bat for the big reveal.</p><p>Things didn’t go as they expected when Duschene missed the pitch and the ball fell to the floor unceremoniously, revealing to all that they would soon be welcoming a baby girl.
