<p>A New Jersey school board member was caught on camera</a> using profanity to a police officer and calling the police chief a skinhead during an April 27 traffic stop.</p><p>South Orange-Maplewood School Board Member Stephanie Lawson-Muhammad has apologized</a> since the video was released.</p><p>Lawson-Muhammad can be heard calling the South Orange police chief, Kyle Kroll, a “skinhead” once she is told she is getting a ticket for speeding and not having proof of insurance. Earlier in the video, Lawson-Muhammad is heard telling the officer she’s scared of cops because “you guys hurt black people.” She can be heard crying, and the officer asks her if Lawson-Muhammad needs an ambulance because she may be having a panic attack. She tells him that’s an insult.</p><p>Lawson-Muhammad is the second New Jersey public official</a> caught on camera mouthing off to a police officer in recent weeks.
