The National Assembly will likely convene a plenary session Monday to vote on the government's extra budget bill,... as well as a bill that calls for a special probe into an online opinion rigging scandal.<br /> The session had been rescheduled twice before being called off... as rival parties were at odds over the specifics of the 3-point-6 billion U.S. dollar extra budget bill.<br />But they've managed to make some progress... after agreeing to slash the budget bill by 10 percent, or about 360 million dollars.<br />A subcommittee of the parliament's budget committee has been fine-tuning the details... and when procedures are complete.... the revised bill will be referred to the budget committee for approval.<br /> Rival parties have also reached an agreement over the scope and duration of the special probe... after tense negotiations.<br />The parties had agreed to vote on both issues at the same time,... as part of a compromise to end the 42 days of inactivity at parliament.<br />Three opposition parties had agreed to convene a plenary session Monday morning,... to which the ruling party said would only be possible, if the screening of the budget is complete. <br />
