Hundreds of contestants took part in the annual Pattaya Bikini Beach Race in Pattaya, Thailand, on May 19.<br /><br />The 9km fun run saw 3,000 contestants take part in the race to promote ''healthy eating and exercise.''<br /><br />Thaworn Wattanakul, Director of Chonburi Tourism and Sports, said: ''More than 3,000 people took part in the colourful event. There were some athletes and some people who just wanted to enjoy exercising.<br /><br />''The goal is to promote exercise, a healthy lifestyle and encourage tourism here. There are prizes worth 500,000 baht (£11,500) to give away.''
