The convenience of the internet aside, Millennials generally have a tougher time in life than their parents.<br />That's because so many of the key expenses of life are so expensive.<br />Rent, home prices, and college tuition have risen far faster than wages.<br />Cars, health insurance, and child care costs have also skyrocketed.<br />Food and electronics are cheaper in comparison to what Gen Xers paid in their youth.<br />However, that's little comfort when big-ticket purchases like homes are out of reach. <br />
