This is the moment critically endangered Hawksbill turtle hatchlings shuffle along the beach to enter the ocean in Indonesia. <br /><br />Video shows the adorable babies exiting their sandpit and making the journey to the sea in Tiku, West Sumatra. <br /><br />Hatchlings usually make their way to the sea at nighttime, using the cover of darkness to guard against predators such as birds and crabs. <br /><br />Once in the ocean, they rejoin their colony. <br /><br />The turtles, known by their scientific name as Eretmochelys imbricata, is listed on the IUCN Red List as "critically endangered".<br /><br />There are some conservation efforts in Sumatra, according to the filmer, but villagers often steal the eggs to sell them.<br /><br />The footage was captured on May 16.
