<p>A new creature has emerged at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens – an American burying beetle.</p><p>A video shared on the zoo’s Facebook page on May 21 shows the beetle making its way out from underground. “After spending 2 months underground developing into an adult these beetles emerge to produce the next generation,” the post stated.</p><p>The beetle will be introduced into a nature preserve in June as a way to reintroduce the species into its natural habitat.
